In 2010, the iPhone 4 was released. Initially it was only available in black and if you looked around, everyone had it. So did Daniel, the founder of AppSkins, who was working as a self-employed vehicle foiler at the time.
At that time he created the first skin templates for his iPhone 4 to customize it with foils with textured surfaces. Word spread quickly, so that AppSkins had its first fans a short time later.
Since then, quality, accuracy of fit and functionality have been the guiding principles of AppSkins. Unique is the perfect protection against annoying scratches and fingerprints. In addition, it increases the grip.

The material that was available in 2010 was not ideal for use on smartphones. We have optimized the material in collaboration with film manufacturers.
Important are a high-quality look, easy application and a strong adhesive
Before we include a material series in our range, it goes through extensive testing and quality control.
We then matched the adhesive, material thickness and finishes.

The series
Choose your style!
Each material series has its own characteristics, but some quality features are the same for all of them. All Unique skins are equipped with a full-surface adhesive with integrated air channel system.
This is either a time-activated adhesive, which can be repositioned, or a pressure-activated adhesive. This only adheres when pressure is applied to cause the microspheres in the adhesive to burst. All adhesives are developed in such a way that they can be removed without leaving any residue.
